Mission Statement

To provide East Muskingum School District’s students a learning environment, which will enable them to function and adapt in a technology-based world.

Vision

It is the vision of East Muskingum Schools to provide tomorrow’s students a legacy of continuous improvement which is reflective of the successes of the past, the practices of the present, and the promises of the future.

Support of Enhanced Learning and Equity

Technology access helps enhance student learning and equity through the appropriate use of technology. The district has technology available for all classrooms and media centers in all buildings. Technology related courses are available for all students in grades 6-12. These courses are offered as part of the arts rotation at the middle school and elective courses at the high school. Computer access is available to all students in individual classes for classroom students to use.
District Technology Standards

Students, teachers, and staff will acquire the following basic technology standards as members of the East Muskingum Schools community:

Understand basic technology operations and concepts.

Use technology responsibly and ethically.

Use technology to communicate effectively and creatively.

Use technology for thinking, learning and producing.

Use technology for research, problem solving and decision-making.
